Låt 2014 bli året då vi
stannar upp och lyssnar till tystnaden,
tar bättre hand om varandra,
tar bättre hand om världen,
ställer de stora frågorna och accepterar att de inte har några andra svar än de som ligger dolda i att vi fortsätter att ställa dem,
inser att det inte finns vi och dem, utan bara vi,
förstår att skillnader inte utarmar utan berikar,
väljer att möta med kärlek, accepterar och förlåter,
har modet att leva som de vi är,
inser att livet händer i ögonblicket, att vi inte har någon tid att förlora och
tar vara på den fantastiska gåva som livet är.
A prayer for 2014
Let 2014 be the year when we
stop and listen to the silence,
take better care of each other,
take better care of the world,
ask the great questions and accept that they do not have any other answers than those hidden in the continuous asking of these questions,
realize that there is no us and them, but only we,
understand that differences do not impoverish but enrich,
choose to respond with love, acceptance and forgiveness,
have the courage to live as we are,
realize that life happens in the moment, that we have no time to lose and
appreciate the precious gift of life.
